Logo Design Edmonton

You need a logo and we can help

Kyle Loranger Design is an experienced branding and web development team with over 25 years in business.

We have worked with hundreds of clients from both private and not-for-profit sectors to deliver impactful and effective identities, communications and marketing solutions.

We design our brands to last. Our logo work centres on getting the truest, most important part of the organization’s story into the mark. By doing this, we create marks that speak to the unique offering of the organization, and provide a solid foundation to build the whole brand around.

Logo design cost

Custom logo work takes some time to do. Having a custom logo sets your business apart from cookie-cutter logo designs. Remember, your logo should last for at least a decade or more, so investing the time and money to get it right from the start is important.

Logo pricing will vary with the size of the organization, and how large your audience base is. For custom logo design for a small organization, expect to start with a budget of $1500 and add on other pieces from there.

Create an overall look for your company

Along with your new logo, your business will likely need a range of marketing materials from website to letterhead, signage to brochure. You will need some design tools to help your marketing materials look consistent. Along with your new logo, it’s important to create a look for your company to keep your materials looking like they are all part of the same family.  We can develop sample applications to show what those logos will look like when applied to a website, folder cover or pop-up display.

Style and branding guidelines

To help communicate how your logo should be used we can develop a style guide. The guide can be just a few pages, or as long as you need.

A short identity guide will show acceptable usage of the logo, the rationale for the logo, and the official Pantone colours. A longer identity guide will also include templates for business cards, powerpoint presentations, advertising guidelines, and more.

How do you develop a logo design and brand at KLD?

Step 1: Get a sense of what you like, and what you need to communicate.

We start by gathering 20 – 30 logos in your industry, and review them with you.
By looking at other existing logos, you can tell us what graphic styles, colours and type you like / don’t like.

Step 2:  With that feedback in mind, we develop 4 to 6 creative logo concepts, review them with you and narrow down ideas. In a couple rounds of revisions, we usually arrive at a final mark.

This way, you get to see a variety of ideas with colour and type variations and can be sure you are getting the best one for your situation.

Step 3:  We deliver the final logo in a variety of file formats. (Colour, Black and White, with logo and type in separate files, etc)

Frequently Asked Questions about Logo Design and Branding

I'm a small start-up business. Can I get a simple logo for my business card and website?

If the only place your customers will see your logo is your business card and a one page website, maybe a fancy logo isn’t worth the investment right now. Instead of a full logo process, we can design some good looking type for your short term needs. We can show you a variety of options, work with you to select one and get you files you can use.
