You are a trained graphic designer with a 2 to 4 year diploma or design degree who can design identity and print projects from start to finish. You can also design for screen – whether its a fresh new look for a website, digital ad or social media graphics. You are seeking a balanced work environment, where you get to work on a wide variety of projects and clients.

Working in our 124 Street office, you will work in with our small team to complete projects and ongoing client requests, supported by our project manager and creative director.

Responsibilities:
– Work on a variety of design projects which can include identities, print materials, website design, and more. 

Background / Experience:
– 2 – 4 year Graphic Design diploma or degree
– 3-5 years of graphic design experience 

Essential Skills:
– Excellent written communication skills
– Excellent organization skills
– Proven attention to detail
– Expert with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
– Working in a Mac environment 
– Knowledge of up-to-date design trends and tools

Additional skills that would be nice to have:
– Content writing skills
– Working in WordPress, web design skills 
– Social media skills
– SEO knowledge and skills
– Client service skills

Compensation:
– $38,000 – $50,000 / year depending on experience
– Plus $1000 / year health spending account

Work Environment:
– Full time, regular hours in our Edmonton office on 124 Street.
– We believe in work / life balance and expect any overtime hours to be rare.
– Parking is available nearby. Excellent transit connections.

You are a trained graphic designer or communications professional who can design and build beautiful, effective WordPress websites using the Elementor page builder tool (if you haven’t used Elementor before, we can teach you).

Working in our 124 Street office, you will work in with our small team to complete projects and ongoing client requests, supported by our project manager and creative director.

Responsibilities:
– Plan, design and build WordPress websites for a variety of small business, industrial and not-for profit clients
– Work on a variety of other design projects which can include identities, print materials

Background / Experience:
– Graphic Design or Marketing / Communications diploma or degree
– 1-5 years of experience working with website and design clients
– Experience with designing and building websites – you should be able to show a variety of websites you have had a major contribution in designing and building.

Essential Skills:
– Excellent written communication skills
– Excellent organization skills
– Proven attention to detail
– Proficient with HTML and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
– Working in WordPress (Setting up new sites, making content edits, troubleshooting, optimizing for mobile)
– Proficiency at solving website technical issues
– Working in a Mac environment
– Knowledge of up-to-date web design trends and tools

– Social media skills
– SEO knowledge and skills
